I've been a Clay Aiken fan since he first appeared on American Idol. That hasn't changed and it won't.
There are some that would like to be able to state the opposite without being bashed, ridiculed and banned from their favorite Clay message board. I feel they should be given the opportunity.
You probably know what has brought this about, but in case you don't I'll tell you.
Fans and non fans alike believe Clay is gay. Yes, you can say the word. Unfortunately, we're not allowed to discuss it anywhere.
Well, you can here, as long as you don't use any derogatory names in doing so.
Would you also like to discuss how he's handling his career?
What you wish for him, be it singing only, a future in television,
his banter in his concerts, his next cd. Well, start typing.
All I ask, is that there be no nasty bashing.
Do I think he's gay. Perhaps, but only because of the stories that we've heard for the last year or so. Personally, I don't see it.
Yes, I've seen some feminine traits, but that's not a reason to think he is. He appears to me, to be more straight than gay.
But the thing is, I believe Clay needs to know that some of his fans truly do believe he is and would like to show their support regardless. True, he may never know about this blog, but at least we can come together here to discuss it and support each other or agree to disagree without the tone of 'good fan', 'bad fan' or 'not a fan'.
