Tour The, True and Tried

 Blog Title Backwards? Ye-ah, I did that on purpose. I wanted it to match my feelings on what is aptly called 'The Tried and True Tour'.


Why so late with this tour? The cd was out eons ago.


Shouldn't the tour have come first; or at the very least coincided with the release of the cd?


That being said, 'I'm sorry Clay, but truthfully, I don't think the tour is going to help sell the cd. While you do sound wonderful on all of the tracks, it's not a cd I've listened to more than twice.'


The main thing I'm hoping to get out of this tour for myself is to see your interaction with the fans, banter with whomever is on stage with you, your quick wit and shining personality. Not the music.


As I've said before, lol; it's your fault. Your fault for showing me there's more to you than a 'voice' for singing.

Being a fellow  I get that you're stubborn, so I'll just hang in there and hope that someday my tastes will catch up to the songs you prefer to sing.


In the meantime, I wish you all the best with the tour. I hope it's a big success for you with lots of fun, love and laughter.

'Clay Aiken Untamed' has a nice ring to it. :)
